My passion for medicine was fueled in 1975 when I became an emergency medical technician. While going to college, I worked on an ambulance and in an emergency room.
I was the first female paramedic in the state of Fla in 1977. Veterinary medicine is always my first priority, and I fulfilled my life’s passion when I graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.
I spent the first year post graduation in a 5 doctor small animal and exotic practice. I then accepted a position in a veterinary emergency clinic where I practiced and managed the hospital. In addition to the emergency clinic, I worked in several daytime practices as a relief veterinarian. I opened my existing small animal and exotic practice in 1987.
My interest in alternative medicine lead me to become a Certified Natural Health Professional in 2012. The knowledge and skills derived from this certification has added immeasurable value to my practice.
I have been a visionary in the health field. My hospital was the first in Florida to offer ultrasound telemedicine, and the second hospital to offer class 4 laser therapy, the first on board with digital radiography, and I continue to strive to stay cutting edge in the profession.
My “WHY”
In 2004 one of my show horses developed debilitating neck spasm. Traditional western medicine was unable to fix the problem. I was unwilling to give up, and sought alternative means to treat her. The journey to fix Lilly led to chiropractic training, a thorough understanding of nutrition, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Jin Shin jyutsu, Chinese herbs, intrinsic energy products, therapeutic laser, essential oils, Bach Flowers, emotional healing, and certification in Live Blood Analysis. All these modalities and more are integrated into my treatment protocols resulting in greater success than western modalities alone.

My mission for veterinarians is crystal clear. I’m here to share everything I’ve learned with my fellow veterinarians who like me, are driven to provide the best care for our furry patients. My mission for pet parents is to empower them with knowledge and resources so that pet parents can make empowered decisions to ensure their pets are healthy and thriving.

Alyssa Siegel
Director of Implementation/Lead Vet Tech/Practice Manager
Practically born into her role, Alyssa began her journey the day she arrived on mother earth, as Dr. Siegel went straight back to work after having Alyssa. She’s been a fixture at the clinic ever since, helping out even before she could walk. By 18, Alyssa was already a full-time vet tech, showcasing her lifelong commitment to animal care.
As a vet tech, Alyssa wears many hats: she's a nurse, a phlebotomist, a radiologist, and a surgical assistant all rolled into one. She’s the friendly face that pets and their owners rely on for comfort and care during visits.
Alyssa is skilled in drawing blood, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting in surgeries. Her keen eye and gentle touch ensure every pet receives top-notch care.
Alyssa's impressive credentials include a certification in natural health at just 12, and she’s certified in abdominal ultrasound, echoes, and lymphatic therapy. Trained in chiropractic care, she's also an accomplished author and educator, teaching ozone and photodynamic therapy.
As the office manager and director of implementation, Alyssa ensures everything runs smoothly.
Her passion for animals shines through in everything she does, including being the proud mom of Adi, our beloved office therapy dog. Alyssa's dedication and expertise make her an invaluable asset to the Pasco Vet team!

Adi's journey with us began when her breeder brought her in to diagnose a large mass on her side. Dr. Siegel diagnosed her with a large body wall hernia. The breeder was unwilling to follow through with the surgery to repair it and chose to have her euthanized. Alyssa and Dr. Siegel were unwilling to kill this sweet puppy over a repairable condition. They adopted the puppy from the breeder and performed the surgical repair with the help of Dr. Kevin Adney. Though the first week post operative was touch and go, Adi thrived under Alyssa’s expert loving nursing care. Our family grew by 4 feet! Adi has became a beloved member of Pasco Vet, coming to work everyday with Alyssa and Dr. Siegel!
Adi is the epitome of compassion and joy, eagerly greeting every patient and pet parent that walks through our doors. She has an uncanny ability to sense when a pet needs company, often found patiently sitting outside recovery rooms or working alongside Alyssa.
But Adi's kindness and friendliness don't stop with dogs and cats; she's a friend to all, whether they have two legs, fur, feathers, or scales. She loves making new friends and shows us every day the beauty and spirit of all animals. When she's not busy greeting and comforting patients, you might catch her chilling on the couch, watching TV or trying to nibble on her own foot. Adi marches to the beat of her own drum, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Adi is a constant reminder of why we do what we do and the impact we can have on every animal's life. Adi's journey from an uncertain beginning to becoming the heart and soul of Pasco Veterinary Medical Center is a testament to her resilience and the power of compassion.
Adi is also our official model for all things Pasco and EvoLove. She embodies this lifestyle, reflecting it in her health and wellness. Her vibrant energy and glowing health are a testament to the care and love she receives and represents the high standards we uphold at Pasco Vet.
